Jacob's Story

Objective: Design a book that is no less than twenty pages. Typographically convey a passage, short story, poem, lecture, etc.

Concept: I chose to use a passage from Jodi Picoult's novel titled House Rules, a book about an 18 year old boy with Aspergers Syndrome. Through choice of color and variance in typography and page size, I wanted to give Jacob a voice and to show his struggle to fit into society.
